How Does Our Men's Conditions for Teratospermia Treatment Benefit You?

Teratospermia, which is also known as teratozoospermia, is a condition in which the sperms are present but are with abnormal morphology. This condition affects the fertility in males. This condition can be caused due to a variety of reasons like Hodgkin’s disease, coeliac disease and Crohn’s disease, etc. Other reasons for this condition are not known yet, but lifestyle habits like smoking, drinking, and toxins exposure can cause poor morphology of sperm. In Teratospermia, due to abnormal morphology, it prevents the transportation of sperm through the cervix, or prevents the sperm adhering to the ovum; leading to fertility issues.
According to Ayurveda, Shukra dhatu kashya (depletion of semen) is considered as a cause for Teratospermia. The reason for shukra dushti i.e. qualitative and quantitative abnormality in shukra is faulty diet, psychology, trauma and chronic illnesses. When there is imbalance in Vata and Pitta dosha, these abnormalities in shukra are initiated and continue until it's rectified.
The treatment of Teratospermia in ayurveda focuses on treating the root cause, which in this case is the vitiation of doshas. The line of treatment consists of Shodhana Chikitsa, which involves therapies of Snehana, Swedana, Balakara and shaurakara chikitsa, virechana, and Vasti karma. Along with this, herbal medications are also provided, which includes ashwagandha, bala, shatavari, triphala, shilajitu, musli pak, chavanaprashya, vrishya vati, kushmanda, rasayana vati, etc. which promotes the recovery of sperms and make it healthy. Other sexual disorders caused due to Teratospermia are also treated by usage of above herbs. As psychology is an important factor impacting in this case, special counselling sessions are also done to remove emotional stress and promote the healing process. This line of treatment helps in reversal of the condition in a holistic way.
